The Dwarka Expressway is changing the realty market in Gurugram and NCR

As the Dwarka Expressway is nearing its completion, the realty market in Gurugram and NCR is set to undergo a metamorphosis change because the region has emerged as a hot property destination for property buyers and investors in recent years.

The completion of the Dwarka Expressway will heighten the commercial prospects of the region and propagate increased residential settlements. Owing to its strategic location and exceptional physical and social infrastructure development in recent years, the Dwarka Expressway has grabbed the attention of many prospective buyers wanting to settle in the region.

Nitin Gadkari, Union Transport and Highways Minister, had made a public statement that the Dwarka Expressway will be completed by this year’s Independence Day. Upon its finalization, Dwarka Expressway will be the world’s longest elevated road, measuring 23 km.

Vikas Garg, Deputy Managing Director, MRG World said, “The Dwarka Expressway is considered the most reputable and livable region of Gurugram, attracting high-quality developments and upscale investments. It has a perfect balance of affordable, mid-priced, premium, and luxury homes, housing lakhs of people. The price appreciation of 2,3,4 BHK homes is pretty good. Upon the completion of Dwarka Expressway, it will bring a tectonic shift in the real estate markets of Gurugram and NCR.”

Affordable Housing has also managed to penetrate the Dwarka Expressway region, which is in demand as buyers can avail interest subsidy on them under the Haryana government’s affordable housing scheme through Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY).

Rohit Mohan, Senior VP, BPTP Group said, “The Dwarka Expressway has become a hotspot for luxury, commercial and residential real estate development over the years. After its completion, the excellent road connectivity will offer leeway for many realty players to develop many projects in the region. This will persuade more and more people to settle in the area due to the innumerable amenities and facilities that are being offered in the real estate projects.”

Bolstering Dwarka Expressway’s road connectivity, the Comprehensive Mobility Management Plan (CCMP) of GMDA will incorporate the construction of roads connecting Sector 125 / 114 and 108/106, NPR, PR, and Sector 114.
